What's this about?

Worms of Course! I raise domesticated worms for the composting trade, and take worms with me, or dig them up on site, when I go fishing. I go to great lengths to make them happy in my garden, for which they repay me through bumper crops, fertilized by the worms, of whatever I put in the ground. I feed worms over 50% of my household waste, (garbage) and just about all of our yard and garden waste. So, one might say, I am a worm using sorta guy... and proud of it!

Much of what you will find within this section is taken from extensive reading on the subject of worms which means that it must be taken with a grain of salt as many of the leading experts, whether living or having become worm food, tend to have conflicting numbers etc. An example of this sort of incongruity can be seen when looking for an over all number of worm varieties. Some speak of 3,000, others 6,000, and still others speak of as many as 8,000 different kinds of worms. Needless to say, my experience, reading etc. has not brought me in contact with even a small portion of these. So unless noted otherwise, think of this page as a compilation of the best stuff I can find on the subject and not as an authoritative and/or scientific paper.

Still, you may be able to sift some very interesting and useful info from the hogwash and horsefeathers so... Read On!
