Topline's R&C Diet was developed with some specific problem solving goals in mind. Here are a few of the problems that this primary diet formula, when properly fed and with other conditions being well maintained in your roach or cricket colony, will eliminate or at least go a long way toward correcting:

3. Reduces deformities caused by unbalanced or inadequate nutrition.
4. Reduces cannibalism of nymphs and tail biting.
5. Reduces aborted clutches.
   (low stress, high protein, ease of consumption, and balanced amino acids make life better for mama)
6. You'll see larger size in adult roaches and crickets.
   (Bigger is Better!)
7. Eliminates starvation of nymphs.
8. Increases colony production and survival of nymphs.
9. Eliminate wasted, moldy food!
   Roaches and crickets love to eat this food!
10. Costs less and does more than many other commercially available insect foods.

R&C Diet also addresses, gut loading your feeders for the insectivores. Here are some of our food's good points on that issue:

1. No soy added. If you are wondering, "why not soy?", have a look at how, and why, it is used or not used in the diets of production meat animals. One or two of the things that protracted soy feeding may cause is lowered calcium absorbtion, and lowered breeding production rates. Soy is often substituted for corn in largescale growers feed operations when the price of corn goes up. There's a lot to it... and it's quite complicated.
2. Vitamin D3 added. There is little data out there on specific D3 absorbtion rates for many insectivores. From what I have read, it appears that most, if not all, species use vitamin D3 to process calcium. We have D3 in our formula to help keep your insectavore healthy.
3. Calcium added. If you are feeding your bugs to lizards, then this formula has what you are looking for. High calcium level with vitamin D3.
4. Balanced amino acids.
5. Naturally preserved using vitamin E and olive oil.
6. Every ingredient in this formula is excellent for any insectivore! R&C Diet food has all the right stuff to help your herp, arachnid, mammal, fish, or insect, grow and thrive. Just let your roach or cricket eat it before feeding them to your insectivore!
