Gusanito Worm Farm Bin!

Gusanito Worm Composting 5 Tray VermiComposter.

Points of Interest:
  • The purpose of the Gusanito Worm Farm Bin is to, "recycle kitchen scraps and other household materials in a defined, controlled environment, with the goal to produce what many vermiculture enthusiasts refer to as 'black gold' compost or worm castings, a favorite of all gardeners. With the Gusanito Worm Farm Bin, you may never again need to resort to chemical fertilizers.
  • The Gusanito Worm Farm Bin provides the controlled environment necessary for red worms to convert ordenary kitchen scraps, waste paper and other organic refuse into that most desireable of all humas products, worm castings. The bottom tray has a special liner and spout, allowing for the easy collection of 'worm tea' that has drained through the higher trays. The liquid worm tea is of great benifit to plants, including house plants. The liquid can be given directly to house plants or garden plants without risk of damage. In the trays above, the worms work to turn the food scraps they have been given, into worm castings. They are started in the bottom tray, move up through the higher trays, leaving behind, in the bottom tray, the worm castings (which after all is what we wanted in the first place). When fully operational, the Gusanito Worm Farm Bin will hold 10,000 to 12,000 worms that will convert 5 to 8 pounds of food per week. The result of all that worm activity is a full tray of worm castings every month.
  • A 16 page, instruction booklet, detailed and loaded with pictures and aimed squarely at the setup and operation of the Gusanito Worm Farm Bin and comes in the box with your Gusanito Worm Farm. The booklet explains everything you need to know to get your Worm Farm up and running.
  • The Gusanito Worm Farm Bin can be used both indoors and outdoors. In warm weather outside in a cool dry place. In the winter, move it indoors to keep the worms from being frozen. A properly run unit will be odor free and because it can be indoors or out, production of your worm castings and worm tea will not be interupted.
